Objectives
- Read and understand a children story in Modern Standard Arabic.
- Write words using the Arabic script.
- Build a useful vocabulary of around 300 words.
- Count till 10.
- Greet people and answer basic formalities.
- Introduce yourself, ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you live, where you learn Arabic, and what you do in life, and offer and order drinks.
Level A1.1

Objectives
- Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
- Express what you like and don’t like, what you prefer, and your current state of mind.
- Master saying and using the Arabic numbers in many different situations, such as counting, saying the price, age, date, etc.
- Read and understand a simple text in Arabic.
- Learn an Arabic song by Carole Samaha.
Modern Standard Arabic:
Read and understand a simple text in Modern Standard Arabic.
Level A1.2

Objectives
At the end of this course, you will achieve the equivalent of Level A1 of the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages”.
This means that you are able to:
- Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
- Easily express yourself with the verbs ‘to have’, ‘to want’ and ‘to like/love’ in different daily situations.
- Interact in a simple way, provided the other person talks slowly and clearly, and is prepared to help.
- Can singalong and understand a song.
Level A2.2

Objectives
At the end of this course, you will feel comfortable expressing yourself in the Present Tense and easily switch between the past and the present. You are able to:
- Fluently and automatically conjugate FORM I verbs in different contexts and topics.
- Easily make complete sentences in the past and present tense using different verbs, the right prepositions and a rich vocabulary.
- Describe things and people using adjectives and colours.
- Describe clothes and accessories.
- Express state of mind, feelings and emotions in different situations.
- Communicate what you are doing, what you usually do, and the events of a story.
- Read and understand simple MSA texts in the Present Tense.
- Can singalong and understand a song by the famous singer: Fairouz.
